This simple and quick homemade peach honey matcha iced tea is better than any store bought iced tea and is definitely addictive. This summer drink with benefits of matcha “green goodness” will become your favorite drink in no time.
I am big fan of match tea and hot tea kind of not suitable for summer season, but why should I avoid this green goodness in summer if I have a better option then having it hot or warm ? Match tea is one of the best tea, full of amazing health benefits. So I thought of combining matcha with peaches, perfect stone fruit for iced teas and made this refreshing iced tea that tastes so good.
I have stopped using black tea for my iced teas long time back as I like the flavor, color of green tea or matcha also they do have amazing health benefits. This recipe is quick as I blended peaches instead of making peach syrup. If you do not want to use matcha than you can also use cold brewed green tea. The cafe grade gotcha matcha works best for iced tea or smoothies. Also I have used honey as a sweetener in this iced tea but you can also add stevia or agave nector depending upon your preference.
